De Franstalige live sensatie “Le Roi Mort et les Lentilles Rouges” komt niet uit de diepe kloven rondom Saint Guilhem le Désert ,  of de uitgestrekte lavendelvelden van de zinderende Provence... Provincialen zijn het wel, temperamentvol bovendien!
                                                
Dit flamboyante gezelschap ” bon vivants”  komt namelijk gewoon van het Drentse Platteland.  “Le Roi Mort “ grossiert in een verassende mengeling van vrolijk stemmende franse polka-punk en opzwepende chansons, die met de nodige zelfspot hartstochtelijk in het Frans worden gezongen. Met een flinke knipoog en de bekende franse slag weet “le Roi Mort” zelfs de meest verstokte chauvinist te boeien. Slechts het vrolijk stemmende anarchistische karakter van deze chansonniers verraad hun illustere verleden….
